Features of a THz pulse generated in the metallic waveguides partially filled with nonlinear crystals

چکیده
Abstract The experimental and numerical study both generation transmission terahertz pulse in a nonlinear crystal partially filling the rectangular metallic waveguide cross-section is presented. LiNbO 3 DAST crystals have been studied since they high-quality factor (FOM) optical rectification them most promising method for generating an extremely strong field. Experimentally numerically has shown that, depending on thickness permittivity of crystal, broadband can propagate with low absorption form fundamental H 10 mode or linear superposition no modes.
